Pentax announces the new K-7 DSLR today (May 20, 2009). As seems to be the rule these days for all new DSLRs, it can shoot video as well as stills. The K-7 features an all new 14.6MP sensor. The US list price of $1299.95 would put it in the same price class as the Canon EOS 50D and slightly above the Nikon D90. Like all Pentax DSLRs, the K7 features sensor-shift body-based image stabilization (up to 4 stops).
